About the Camp
Kakebe Technologies is excited to announce a full residential youth tech camp for 250 young people from across East Africa, to be held in Lira City, Northern Uganda. This camp, scheduled for January 5th - 19th, 2025, at Jerusalem Heritage School, is designed to empower youth aged 12-35 with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the digital age.
Participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum covering topics such as robotics, video game development, programming, music production, videography, artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies, art and design, creative studios and many more. The camp also includes business training and startup incubation, providing the tools necessary to become resilient entrepreneurs.
Through hands-on activities and interactive sessions, participants will develop their talents and creativity, culminating in the creation of real-world solutions like apps, video games, music, and video productions. This immersive experience aims to have a profound impact, empowering young people to become innovative leaders and problem-solvers in their communities. All participants will choose a specific learning track and the details of the track shall be shared with only the registered campers
Basic Information
Camp Fees: UGX 200,000 for total payments for accommodations, learning, meals, and other learning materials.
